NXT LVL Motors is an AMVIC-licensed inspection facility.

Purchasing a vehicle but not sure if it is in good mechanical condition or been in a major collision?

NXT LVL Motors can perform any of these inspections on your vehicle as well as completing repairs and maintenance required to keep you and your family moving safely on the road.

Out-of-Province Inspection $70.00
This inspection is required for all vehicles being registered in Alberta that have previously been registered outside of Alberta.

We are very familiar with performing out-of-province inspections on JDM vehicles and have the experience to guide you through the process, from start to finish.

Make sure you bring us your Out-of-Province request form, which can be obtained from any Alberta registry before bringing your vehicle to us. This form is required for us to perform the inspection.

Out-of-Province Re-Inspection $70.00
An out of province re-inspection is required if your vehicle does not pass an
Out-of Province inspection the first time around. We completely waive this fee if you perform the repairs with us. If you repair the vehicle on your own or take it elsewhere, we have to completely re-inspect the vehicle to verify all repairs were performed properly.

Mechanical Inspection $70.00
This is our basic mechanical inspection. We recommend that most customers perform an inspection like this to their vehicle once or twice annually. Ideally, an inspection would be conducted in the fall, just before winter to make sure your vehicle is ready to face the harsh Alberta climate before you’re stuck in the middle of it.

We also recommend performing another inspection in the spring to make sure your vehicle is ready for summer. Winter driving can take a heavy toll on your vehicle, especially if it’s older and it’s best to identify any important repairs right after the winter driving months.

Insurance Inspection $56.00
Alberta Insurance inspections are required by Alberta insurance companies
(typically when the vehicle is over 10 or 12 years old, depending on the insurance company).

You will typically be required to produce proof of one of these inspections before your insurer will provide you with permanent insurance on your vehicle.

Pre-Purchase Inspection $140.00
NXT LVL Motors provides a very thorough pre-purchase inspection.

This inspection takes us around 2 hours to complete and we go through and test every switch, bulb, accessory and feature on your vehicle. As part of our inspection, we will clearly communicate the condition of all mechanical aspects of the vehicle. As part of this inspection, we examine all body panels and the interior of the vehicle.

The pre-purchase inspection is great for finding any minor flaws in your vehicle before you purchase it, allowing you to make your purchase decision with peace of mind and improving your bargaining position in light of whatever flaws or issues are brought to light through the inspection.
